Solstice Blessings

Whatever your faith, religious, spiritual or cultural beliefs; the turning of the wheel at the dark of the year will carry some significance for you.

This year has been particularly turbulent for many people around the globe, and it’s always good to reflect on those less fortunate than ourselves at this time of year. War, natural disasters, famine and other upheavals continue to remind us what a fragile jewel our planet Earth is. It is easy to get depressed about the state of things, but it is harder to acknowledge that the best approach is for us to keep on doing what we can in our own small way to make the world a better place.

I am encouraged to have made several new friends this year who are all working towards that goal; we have shared learning experiences along the way and it is good to know that the light continues to spread.

Next year I shall be tutoring a Foundation Course in southern Scotland for The British Society of Dowsers, plus the BSD Earth Energy courses levels 1 – 3. I am also presenting at the Canadian Society of Questers’ Conference in Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia; and at the Canadian Society of Dowsers’ Conference in Hamilton Ontario. More details of these events can be found on the Workshops & Talks page.

I would like to thank all my clients and friends out there for their support; may we all find peace and happiness in 2012.

Happy Holidays!

  1. Hi Grahame,

I am 17 right now and I have been fascinated by Geomancy and what it teaches us about. I was watching a video and you and Susan Collins were being interviewd, as you mensioned, you have read books while young, could you mention some of the books you have read or any that might be interresting for me, as a starter to help me understand more about it. I pretty much liked the idea of stone circles, earth acupuncture, geopathic strees, ley lines, water lines, map dowsing and dowsing in a whole contest. If you have any other fields, it would be great if you suggest it! Sorry for any misspeling, I am not from the UK. I appreciate everything from the videos about your work and this website.

    Thanks very much,
    Luis Filipe

    1. Hi Luis,

I don’t think I have enough space here to list all the books I could recommend to you – but for starters I suggest pretty much anything by John Michell, Tom Graves, Hamish Miller, Nigel Pennick, Paul Devereux and Robin Heath.
You can still download Tom Grave’s original version of ‘Needles of Stone’ here: http://www.isleofavalon.co.uk/ndlstone.html
Sig Lonegren’s website also has an extensive booklist: http://www.geomancy.org/#resources/bibliography/geomancy/index.php

And of course, my own book ‘Dowsing Magic’ is not a bad starting point either: https://westerngeomancy.org/products-page/product-category/dowsing-magic/

      Best wishes on your path.
